Help Confused!!!!!

A drop of water just fell on my phone and after that the touch didn't worked and was unresponsive for one whole day. I went to the expert and he told the circuitry has been short circuited hence it has to be replaced but after few hours when I returned from the shop I switched on the phone and to my shock the touch worked fine like nothing happened. So can anyone please tell that should I spend money on this or it has been repaired. Please do tell me.....

Not knowing WHERE on your phone the water dropped, it's difficult to diagnose this issue accurately. The only thing I can think of is that the water evaporated over time and the phone was spared permanent damage.
