Hello all, I have been doing a lot of reading these past few months trying to get introdcued to the Android world. I bought a Coby 7022 in June mainly because Toys r us had the $20 15 month warranty. The 7022 has functioned perfectly and now an ready to move on to a system that can possibly replace my pc laptop and the expensive programs and the dreaded blue screens. Was ready to pull the plug on an Asus TF1 but the Prime was introduced. Hard to justify $650 for a 32g TF2 with kb if Android is going down the chute with Tegra Wayne and Windows 8/9. I do believe that I can be happy with Android for 2 to 3 years if it is supported by the app developers. Would appreciate your thoughts - is Android destined to die -- ie bow out to the big MS machine??

Seriously, people have been heralding the demise of Windows and Macs and Symbian and Blackberry and .. . well you get the picture. They are all still around and will be for a good many years.
