Conneccting a G2 to a Mac

I'm having a problem connecting my new g2 to my Mac. I have an older g4 running OS 10.5.8, I've tried installing double twist and I get an error messages saying that double twist doesn't support the system architecture.
Anyone have any similar problems? How can I resolve this issue? Please help. Thanks

By connecting, are you wanting to just do "drag & drop" or actually sync your playlists?

If you just want to do file transfers, you can either connect to an Android device with this program:

Android.com

Or you can connect via the wireless transfer by turning it on and connecting by doing the following:

DON'T use Safari. It works MUCH better to use the Finder to connect to it like a shared server.

From the finder, go to "GO" menu and select "Connect to Server"

Then enter the address as "smb:\\xxx.xxx.xx.xx " X's being replaced with the appropriate IP address you're phone will give you

It will then prompt you for you name and password and those are on you phone as well.

If you are wanting to sync music, you should be able to use double twist or you could sync with Google Play Music.
