Hey guys,
So I'm starting to get used to the new phone and stumbled upon the app connected devices, I used it over my network and is great, there are just two gripes I have and was wondering if anyone has some insight as I googled it but nothing came up,
1) So far it only streams H.264 MP4 files and wont play any. Mkvs, or AVI files, is there a list of file extensions it supports? Dont wanna keep converting everything to MP4,
2) I have two routers connected to one another on my network, sky and netgear, my netgear router is connected to my windows 7 homeserver, When I turn off the sky router at night (it gets really hot) I used to simply connect to my home server with my laptop and watch films or just on the tv, I thought this app would do the same but it doesn't appear to see any devices on my netgear router with the internet only on LAN, Anyone know how to fix this?
