Connecting Mini-HDMI to DVI

I want to connect my phone to a monitor that doesn't support HDMI and only has DVI. Is there a way to connect my phone to the monitor and still have sound playing through the phone itself instead of the Mini HDMI?

You could get a mini HDMI to DVi adapter. Some thing like the two items in these two links (Link 1)..(Link2) The sound will not be sent via DVI so can use the phones sound or connect speakers to the headphone jack if want better results.
May be able to find them cheaper in US component stores.
Such as Amazon.

I already have a mini-HDMI- HDMI wire, and a hdmi-DVI connector. But i just couldn't get sound to come through the phone when the mini HDMI was plugged into it.
