Connecting Moto G to MacBook Pro via USB

Hi,
Any tips or tutorial for connecting my Moto G 2015 3d gen to MacBook Pro via USB?
Do I need to download drivers or something?
I would like to transfer some videos to my Moto G.
Love the phone, btw!

You need Android File Transfer so the Mac can connect to the phone via USB.

Hi,
I installed Android File Transfer on my MacBook Pro. The first time I used it, I was able to transfer some files but I kept getting this window saying, "

Can’t access device storage
If your device’s screen is locked, disconnect its usb cable, unlock your screen, and then reconnect the usb cable."

Since then, I just get the message.

Any ideas?

Connect the phone to your Mac and once connected pull down the notification. You should have a series of choices on how you want to handle your USB connection.
