Been wanting to play games with an existing controller i have
(an XBox1 Controller)
i ended up buying this USB female to USB C male

with a Male Micro USB to Male USB with USB 3.0 to USB C
connect it but it keeps saying
"On the old Device, Make sure the USB connection is set to File Transfer Or Media Device (MTP)
Drag down the status bar for the notification panel and change the USB connection if needed"

change it to charge device and also tried MTP device and Charging but nothing happens, looking through apps to see if anything is gonna get it to run.

Apps i have tried

Troubleshoot with:
USB OTG checker - Confirms i can use a USB OTG
Tried connecting with:
USB Host Controller - Keeps at the loading screen if i open after plugging everying in
will check to see if it happens if i plug things in after opening the app first.

Gamepad tester: doesnt even get any of the input.

What happens with controller:

Plug things in and the controller vibrates but the logo doesnt turn on.

pressed the logo, but it keeps blinking.

Is it an original Microsoft Xbox controller or some other third-party one. I seem to remember reading about third-party controllers not being supported
