So today I just bought a brand new Toshiba laptop. Well I thought it was a given that my galaxy s5 with lollipop on it would connect but it wont. the laptop has windows 8.1 on it and I am connecting with the stock usb cable for the galaxy s5. the phone will charge but it wont connect or be found by the computer. idk what to do I have tried every driver I could find, ive tried skies and ive even tried the download mode on the phone when I turn it on. I just have no idea what there is even to try anymore it would be such a bummer if I couldn't get my stuff on my computer. ive even thought about trying to go back to kitkat but u need to have programs on ur computer for that which wont connect to my phone so even that is out of the question. Im just desperate to get this to work so any help would be greatly appreciated
