Connecting to network problem

TTM57sl

Lurker
I live in Canada and I bought a Sidekick 4g.

I rooted the phone, did the "bml3.bak" unlock method, got the code and re-booted the phone with my bell sim inside but the unlock screen didn't pop up. So then I did the "efs>root>afs>settings>nv_data.bin" unlock method but still nothing. So I figured if I just delete the nv_data.bin file that it'll come back when I reboot.

So I deleted it, rebooted with bell sim in phone and boom sim unlock screen pops up. I typed in my unlock code and it worked. However when I search for a network and choose bell I get this message "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network" The phone always shows about 3 bars of service, but it doesnt work. At this point, I don't know what else to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
