Help Connecting to the Internet...

Hi! First off, I'm just going to say I am not a very phone-savvy person and I only got this phone today! So please be gentle with me

I bought my Samsung Galaxy and just put my old sim card in it. Works fine for calls and texting so far, but I can't get on the internet. Im just not sure what to do. It SHOULD be able to connect yeah? I was using the net on my old phone (Samsung F480) for facebook and hotmail etc. I don't need a new sim do I?

Were you connecting to the web on your old handset via 3G or 2G?

You might to manually enter the APN settings, some providers can even send them via SMS. Have you tried the providers website to see what they are?
