connecting to wi-fi

No problems with mine. Could it be a case of poor signal strength and being too far away from the router?

No problems with mine either, the signal strength doesn't seem to be as strong as some of the other phones I have had but no issues at this end. Does your phone pick up your wifi signal?

No problems with mine.

In a normal day I will be using 4 or more different wifi networks. Once it had the keys it seamlessly moves between them without me doing a thing.

Few things,

Check if your router has any security/mac filtering restrictions and that you have white listed your handsets MAC address if you do.

Next, the passcode. Most routers are case sensitive, so a1b2 isnt seen the same as A1B2. Enter your code AS SHOWN in the admin panel.

Next, if you have a BT hub or orange live box, you must enable pairing mode BEFORE you attempt to make the first connection.

I also have been having connection probs via wi-fi. it worked great first few days but recently the pages or searches stick or freeze and if i type in searches it wont do anything when i click to search. This seems to be problem even through 3G connection. ? phone or software prob?

Help PLEASE

i have a Belkin N router everytime i try to connect my desire to wifi the wireless starts blinking and it say on phone authenticating then disconnects.

im all out of ideas..

Either your password or security encyption type is wrong, or you have MAC filtering enabled and need to whitelist the desire in the router admin panel.

@Prischa what was it in the end ? Glad you got it sorted :)
