Help Connection: Droid-MAC

I just updated to the newest firmware on my Droid Razr Maxx (1st gen).

When I connect to my MAC, it recognizes the device and then it disappears and reappears. Next it asks me to install Motocost, so I did and still would not let me go into the folders for "MOT".

So I restarted the both the phone and cell to get a fresh start. Same thing happens. I get the same error, and the 2 "MOT" drives keep appearing and reappearing.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

i don't know if this will help. i also have a mac, and when i connect i have usb debugging enabled. have you tried connecting that way?
