Connection Optimizer/Qualcomm Enhanced Location Service?

Qualcom is supposed to allow your gps to find you more quickly reducing battery usage but i found no difference. I leave it on just because it really has no impact on phone and if it saving me on battery then the few extra minutes are appreciated.
Optimizer just prompts you when there is wifi available and helps you to connect easier.
 
I'm just not thrilled about: "...and may collect information even when no applications are running."

Sounds like they are just coming up with an excuse to collect info on you for advertising purposes.
 
I actually went and turned the connection optimizer back on, I felt like it became harder to connect to 4g without it.

Oh well.
