Help Connection problems after installing 2.3.4

I upgraded to android 2.3.4 and now have no connection (o2, uk). Signal strength shows 3 or 4 bars but every 15 secs disappears and shows circle with line through. If I try to make a call phone does not connect but will not hang up and phone locks. occasionally get message "android.process.ascore not responding.
Any suggestions please?

Please reset to default factory setting that will take care of your problem because a far so am concerned I can tell you that samsung galaxy s2 has the best networking signals.I have used many phones including iphone 3gs and that's why telling this as matter of

Have done this but to no effect, the phone seems to randomly switch flight mode off and on.
