Help Connection problems Droid2 with PC

Lurker
You guys have probally answered this a thousand times already. I'm using my phone explorer and trying to sync my phone using usb cord and blue tooth no luck, keep getting message phone not found. I checked my settings a number of times according to what they should be set and they are all right. I can connect by wifi with no problem and sync, but this will do me no good in non wifi areas.
Any suggestions?
Computer Asus windows 7 86 bit system, phone Droid 2
Thanks Tim

I am having pretty much the same issue, except that my laptop (Acer Aspire/Windows 7) can see my Droid2 Global. I am currently stationed in Iraq and have a couple of more months to go with absolutely no access to a Wi-Fi connection. I would like to download some widget and game apps as well as update the Droid before I get back to the States, but I am unable to get my Droid to see the internet. Any suggestions?

I've got EasyTether, but it's still not seeing the internet. I put the USB in PC mode and the driver fails to load. Windows sync mode is incompatible, only mass storage and charge work. Is there something I'm not seeing here?
