Connection sharing between Phone and PC

I have a windows 7 machine which is directly connected to internet through dial up.
Is it possible to share that net connection with Samsung Galaxy GT I-7500 ?
I have installed the New PC Studio.
I may sound dumb, But its my latest encounter with these devices.

Any help will be appreciated

Turn on wifi on your phone it'll search for wifi hot spots and your internet should pop up and then click it and input the password and there you go, you got your home internet running on your phone.

there are no available wifi connections ..
i am connecting through dial up connection on windows machine. I want to share this connection with phone.
I am trying virtual router to make virtual wifi router but its not starting for the dial up connection

This is an issue for me also. I currently have a Windows Mobile phone that has unlimited data, and I'm able to use Internet Connection Sharing to let my USB-tethered laptop access the web without the expense of a separate data account.

Can I the same thing with Android? I'm anxious to upgrade, but this would be a deal breaker.
