Help Connections, Tethering and Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone can help me with something that I'm trying to figure out. I have my phone tethered but unfortunately, I cannot access my phone. It will cut the connection completely if I try to access it. I'm wondering, is there something in the settings that I'm missing that will keep the phone from disconnecting the internet connection to my laptop when I try to access my phone?

Do you have wireless on your computer? Did you try using the mobile AP? It will create an Access Point using your phones data connection. From your laptop you then connect to the access point.

In Froyo: Go to Settings, Wireless and Network, Mobile AP.
