Consider the scenario: Verizon or any other carrier came out with a phone with 2.2. Then the same carrier came out with the Samsung Galaxy S with 2.1. I wonder how much that would hurt the sales of the Samsung.
Well the Nexus One is capable of 2.2 I doubt its gonna affect sales, probably more than 90% of the buyers dont even know jack sh*t about andriod versions.
