Help Constant rebooting

Lurker
My phone is unrooted atm, 100% stock (other than apps I've installed). I was simply playing a game on my phone (Brave Frontier, not very demanding) and it restarted. So I thought ok, whatever. When it booted it was on for maybe 5 seconds before rebooting. Sometimes it doesn't even make it into the system and reboots right after the boost mobile logo displays or the HTC One logo displays

I've read it's possible it could be a battery issue (and I did get this phone as a refurb), but before I purchase one I would like some input if possible. I've only had the phone for 1 1/2 months so it's very deterring, but a simple battery issue would definitely bring some relief as I've loved just about everything the phone has to offer and was awaiting the upcoming update, until now

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A reboot wouldn't necessarily be a battery issue, but more so, it could be something internal. If refurbished then that opens up a door of many problematic possibilities. With that said, there isn't much anyone can do here to help you.

Heck, I can boot in to my bootloader and have my phone show that it is refurbished lol. Doesn't change much with the partitions though. Just gives the appearance that all is well when ultimately it has only been "stabilized" at best.

Anyways, your best bet will be to return the device and try to stay away from another refurbished device. They are not recommended unless you are a developer with experience looking to save a few bucks.

Well, I was taking that advice and working with my old Marquee to have something for now. After I got it up and running after flashing it back to stock (was having issues with MegaTron), I decided to wipe the cache on the SV as well (I had already tried factory reset, worked til the end of setup 2nd time before restarting, but went ahead and did it again after wiping the cache). It's been on for ~15 minutes now (granted it's been off for about an hour), I've tried a few youtube vids and some other things using wifi and still no reset, so if it somehow manages to stay on for a few more hours then I'll try to go back to it

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as I didn't expect a cache clean would do anything since I haven't touched the phone, so I didn't even think about it originally. If it manages to work then I'll definitely edit this post or update the topic
