So, the default Contacts app sucks. I miss HTC Sense!
That being said, what market Contact Manager and Dialer is worth looking at?

I like the stock one. I've had my contacts on Google Contacts for 10 years, and I don't care about anything but bringing up the relevant choices with a few letters of their name typed. I never scroll through them. There's probably a thousand of them.

If it's someone I call all the time, they get a star to appear in the favorites tab of the phone.

Pretty simple.

I have multiple gmail accounts and an exchange account. Not so simple. I understand his need for a unified contacts. Currently i have found nothing that gives me the control and unification i need.
