Do you use gmail? Was your old phone an Android device? Are your contacts set up to sync through your google account? The easiest thing to do would be to turn on contact sync on your old phone, let it sync all your contacts to gmail.....then turn on contact sync on your new phone and let it sync them from gmail to your new phone. If you don't want to sync with gmail you can always turn the sync off when you are done.
