how often does it sync? can you adjust the sync time? can you "sync now"?

You can force a sync by going to Menu > Settings > Data Sync > Uncheck then Recheck the box you want to force a sync with. Or if you want to do them all, uncheck / recheck auto sync.

There may, or may not be something to adjust the sync time in that section as well.
