its my second day with the hero i would like to know how can i coppy all my contacts from my mac book?

Make v-cards and upload them to gmail. If you have the phone auto synced to gmail you will never have to back up more than just apps.

If you are running snow leopard, open the preferences on address book, go to the accounts tab and check the synchronize with google option. Enter your google id. Wait about an hour and your contacts will be on google.
