Help Contact details...

I have just upgraded from a Blackberry Curve to the Ace 2. Having transferred all my contacts Ive noticed that the full name of the contact doesnt always display in full....is there a setting which can be changed so all contact names can be fully displayed instead of some of them having letters chopped off?
