Help Contact List in ICS Help

Phone just upgraded to ICS and I must say what the ****.
the three tabs are Dialer, Recent and Favorites.

The Dialer is fine didnt change much.

Recent - What the ****... No I don't need a contact list I only need the recent calls. No obvious place to fix this either. Checked all the settings and couldnt find the right way to google it.

Favorites - I don't want these large pictures showing, I want it to be a list not pictures.


So Where the hell do i go to see my contact list? No I dont want to go to the home screen/ contacts every time. That's unacceptable.

I have to admit I haven't even seen it.

What is the recent option showing you if it's not recent calls? And since you mention that going to home screen/contacts is unacceptable, does that mean you're talking specifically to accessing it from the lock screen?

I use GoDialer and disabled the stock Contacts. I don't even remember what it looked like before, because I haven't used it for several months. Maybe check out GoDialer or some of the other options out there.

When You hit Phone, it brings up the dialer.
at the top the old tabs where dialer (which showed recent), Contacts, and Favorites.

Now they are Dialer (just last call), Recent and Favorites (with pictures no list).
I want to hit a button from here to view contacts.

It's under the people thing. When you upgraded, your app tray will have Phone, People, Apps, Camera, and Texting. Your contacts are in the people thing. It's no longer in the Phone thing. There isn't a way to change that, that I know of.

I guess my point is, so they are making the entire dialing area irrelevant?

Ok, so there are workarounds for the Contacts list not showing. Anyone figure out how to change the Favorites menu to a list, not big icons?
