I have an HTC Eris running 2.1. My issues are these, maybe someone knows the answer:

When I share a picture via mail and go to enter a name in the 'To' field, there are address's in there that are not correct. I cannot seem to delete or edit them. When I go in to the contacts shortcut, those addresses don't exist. Am I missing something?

Also, related to above, I keep seeing old contact information from face book contacts, showing up in my contact pages. I have removed the FB app, cleared the cache, etc to no avail.

Oh yeah its still there. I'v sync'd it etc. I'm sure it a bug with the FB app, but my main issues are the problems with the contact lists not being able to be edited.
 
When you uninstall FB I mean, can you remove the account? Before Android 2.2.. or 2.3? FB was give a "special" contact status in Android. So they didn't play by the usual rules. The result was weird bugs like this where you can't control or export your FB data.

Their "special" status has been revoked though, now if they want to use the account system they have to function like all the others accounts on an android phone.
 
Go into the sync accounts and remove the facebook account there too.
