OK, so a few days ago my wife and I ran a test where I sent her a text message via hernumber@vtext.com
That little test worked and we went about our business. Today I just noticed that now in my texting threads list instead of having her conact info like this:
her name
(her number)
it's now listed as hernumber@vtext
I've tried deleting her as a contact and rebuilding... I've tried deleting our texting thread and sending a new text... and I've tried adding the @vtext number to her officially, saving and then deleting... but now ANYTIME I send to her or she sends to me it's listed under that number@vtext info.
I'm at a loss of how to tell me phone to "forget" this info and it's driving me a bit crazy. It's annoying of course because when I look at my texting threads instead of seeing her name I just get a string of numbers.
I'm on a Razr Maxx, but this would seem to be more of a Android general issue than a specific phone type.
