Contact photos (gmail)

Hi,
I use gmail on the web and the gmail app on my HTC desire. Some of my contacts have photos attached on the web but not all appear in the 'People' application on my phone.

Anyone come across this before, any tips?

It depends on if the contacts has a gmail account and if they put a photo on their gmail profile.

Oops, it does work, just need to wait a while for gmail to sync with the phone.

Sorry I was not clear. I upload a photo of the contact to my address book and it was not displaying in 'People' on the phone. Actually it does work, you just need to wait a while.
