Contact Picture ( Icon ) ??

Hi,

I know, this question has been asked before, but there was no solution to it.

How can I assign a picture to a contact ????

Yes, I tried the obvious, to edit the contact, click on the picture place holder and select a picture from the gallery and/or take a picture. But nooooooooo picture ever shows at a contact. I have many contact entries with pictures in my Outlook, and so far, like three previous phones have no trouble displaying the contact pics.

And no, my contacts are not stored on a SIM, they are in the phone.

Maybe they need to be in a certain format or size to show.........

Anyone ????

contact > edit contact > long press on photo

I did that, as I said in my post, but it does not show a picture or icon of the pic....... just a gray icon......

You should ask this question in the Galaxy Ace plus forum and not at the Galaxy Prevail M820 !!!! Sorry, don't know this phone !

contact > edit contact > press on photo > photo from gallery > QuickPic > (select photo location)

after rereading this ...

Email apps download copies of your email and store them on your phone. If you delete/change emails with either the app or a computer, the next time you sync the app the changes will appear.
