Contact pictures

Hi, if you search this forum there are several threads about this, but briefly, you can take a photo/download a photo & save it as your contact icon no problem. The contact will need to be on your phone memory, not on the SIM only. So Import it from your SIM to the phone first. Choose the contact, hit the menu button on the bottom left & click "edit". The icon will have a + appear, hit this & options are there. If you need help come back & let us know. It is pretty straightforward though. GrahamF :)
 
You can also do it on your PC using Gmail. Just go to Contacts, select one and click on the avatar to change the picture, then upload anything you like.

Ohhhh! Explains a lot been thinking how can a phone like this have no custom contact pictures lol. Thanks a bunch! :D
 
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean do you have to put the pictures on your phone too?

If you do it in Gmail using pictures from your computer (easier than using a phone I find) then the pictures you upload in Gmail will automatically appear on your contacts on your phone. That's if your phone is set to auto-sync.

No I meant did the contact you wanted to change the pic of have to be saved on your phone not your simcard, But its ok now I ended up doing it Graham's way in the end. Thanks anyway :)
