contact transfer with bluetooth

I tried to transfer my phone contacts to my motoroa bravo phone and it says it was a success but they don't seem to be stored on new phone... when I access my contact list.. my facebook contacts shows.. is there a step I'm missing to complete the transfer?

Contacts are handled two ways - stored locally on your phone or sync'd to a service like your Facebook or Gmail.

When you transferred by Bluetooth, they went to your phone's storage.

Usually your contacts/people app will just show the sync'd contacts, and you can usually go into its settings and tell it to show you both.
