Contact transfer

Trying to transfer my contacts and files from galaxy s to galaxy s III.

They transferred my wife's phone account before putting her contacts on gmail.
So her galaxy s cannot get on the network or make calls anymore.

Is there anyway to transfer the files and contacts using bluetooth or usb or anything.

If you go to your contacts on the galaxy s and Press th" menu button, there should be an option called "import/export" with a few options inside. I can't remember what they are but I think one is says "send via vcf" or something similar. This creates a file that you can email and open on your other phone, which will add all the contacts to the new phone. Sorry I can't be more clear, and it's been 2 years since I did it.
