Help Contact won't update/sync (yes, I've read previous threads...)

Hi,
finished cleanup/merge of Google contacts, I don't know what did sync and what didn't but there's this one contact that I've added a phone number to and isn't reflected on my Android. I have the account settings set to sync everything, and it's been a day and still no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Phone: Verizon droid razr maxx running 2.3.6 (stock)

If that happened to me I’d be stumped too. First thing I’d try is to add some text to that contact’s Notes field on the PC, go over to the droid and tell it to sync, see if it worked. If it did, I’d at least know that sync works, so there’s something wonky about the number.

May be a silly question, but have you tried rebooting the phone?

We had a guy at work with an LG phone on Verizon that wouldn't sync for a couple of days and simply rebooting the phone fixed whatever the problem was.

Figured it's an easy attempt if you haven't done it already.

So I've tried the suggestions, here's the strange thing: this is happening to multiple contacts. They sync if I add new info (e.g. address), however they only sync one phone number instead of two (e.g. if I have home and mobile). This is after importing from Outlook.
So to sum it up, on my Gmail account I see all the phone numbers for these contacts, and new information will sync (except if it's a phone number), but only one phone number syncs to android.

Anybody know what it could be?
