Help Contacts always active

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to Android so please bear with me.

I've had my SGS for about a month or two and everything seemed to be good Had no problem updating to 2.2.1 FROYO.ZSJPG.

Today I was prompted to update to FROYO.ZSJPJ. Afterwards I've noticed that after opening & closing Contacts, this process would still be active according to the Program Monitor. This never happened prior to this latest update. It's not a big deal, but I'm just worried that there's something wrong ie the update didn't go through properly.

My SGS is stock, not rooted. Program Monitor v1.12

If you are on 2.2 don't worry about the program monitor. In 2.2 Google changed the way background tasks worked, and the OS should manage these tasks automatically. The reason the Contacts stay open is that if you want to go back to it, it will open quickly, but if the OS need more resources it will close the unwanted tasks. So as long as everything is working fine don't worry what is running in the background.

It was just weird since it wasn't a big upgrade; they were both 2.2.1.
