Help Contacts App crash

Hey everybody,

For some reason every time I try to copy a contact's phone number to the clipboard by long pressing the number and selecting "copy to clipboard" the app crashes. I tried restarting my phone but I still get the error. Anybody else have this problem or have a suggestion to fix it?

After doing some research apparently this copy and paste issue is a general problem with the s3. From what I've gathered the issue has to do with the clipboard cache filling up and the two current fixes are either a factory reset or a fix that requires root. The former isn't a permanent fix as the copy and paste crash will come back. If anybody knows of a fix that doesn't require root that would be great. If not, I've been looking for a reason to root the phone anyway
