Contacts are not getting restored fully via Samsung Kies!!

Hi Guys,

Before upgrading my phone to Jelly bean I took the complete backup of my phone via Samsung Kies but when after upgrade I tried restoring the backup Its not getting done fully.

Although, Samsung Kies completes the restore process successfully but when I check my contacts, Many of them have not been restored.

I had one notepad application installed from Google Play Store and it really had important notes in it, But after upgrade when I restored it then only application got restored not the data which was there in this notepad app.

I still have backups saved on my laptop so, anyone please tell me if I am doing it in a wrong way..

Curious, do you use a Gmail account? If so, all your contacts will revert regardless of Kies.

As for the data for the note app, was the data saved to the device memory, or a memory card? That might make the difference as to why it didn't restore.

How can it revert back if I didn't take backup on gmail?? Moreover, when I saved those contacts, I saved them in phone memory not in gmail.

Second, Yes notes were stored in phone internal memory not in memory card.
