Help Contacts Confusion

Hi guys,
I would to ask one thing.

I own a HTC One X. When I press the phone button and search a contact through SMART DIAL, my contacts appear 2 times, from my phone and from my SIM.

I don't mean the people section, there i manage to have my contacts once through people > phonebook and selected what i wanted.

I mean the SMART DIAL section. There, I have all of my contacts twice.
What can I do in order to appear only once?

I'm attaching a screenshot to understand exactly my issue.

If you go into your contact list, you will see a drop-down option in the upper, left-hand corner. This is where you select the specific data elements you want to appear in the list. You can just untick the SIM entries and they won't appear, but you can leave them on your sim 'just in case'.

He has done already done that, what he is saying is when he uses smartdial ie starts to enter a number it is still showing both phone and sim entry

Ah. Apologies for not reading the initial post properly.

I guess you could call this either a feature or a bug. I would expect/prefer that if I have specifically decided to not include a specific number source, then the auto-search, smart dial should NOT match any entries from those sources either.

But thinking of it another way, it is a full search of all your numbers, just in case you are trying to find a number that just happens to be a sim number and not listed in your current, filtered phonebook entries. By not 'finding' those numbers, I guess that could really confuse and irritate people.

Perhaps they could grey out the ones that are not included in the current phonebook filter or add a tickbox as you type the smart dialed number, to show matches that are not in your current phonebook list.
