Contacts customization

I'm looking for an app that will allow me to customize the method use for calling and texting specific contacts. I have Google Voice on my phone and would like to set up some contacts to use only that app for calls and texts. So if I go in my address book and chose call Bob, it would call him via GV. Same with texts.

Does that make sense? And is there an app (or a way) to do that?

There are apps for the calling portion. I don't recall names or have links handy as I have no need for them. I'd have to Google (same as you).

As for texting, if you text with the GV app the message will be sent via GV. If you text using a standard messaging app (stock, Handcent, Chomp, etc), it will be sent via your carrier's network. No app will address texting as you've requested that I'm aware of as no single messaging app can send messages both through your carrier and GV.
