Help contacts deleting

Just did the update for android 2.2. For whatever reason the contacts are deleting themselves. Four phones, only three of them have done it. I was able to do a backup on the one phone to save to sd card.

Anyway of restoring? Otherwise it's pretty ridiculous.


Not sure if this is the reason. 2 of my phones were logged into google right away. My third one, they started deleting right after I got my google account synced back up.

+1. This happened to my wife's Intercept. But it also won't let her log into her Google, it says her password is incorrect. We checked and she was trying to use the correct password.

I thought I lost all of my contacts after the upgrade. I found them. Maybe it'll work for you.
Go to 'Contacts'.
Hit 'Menu'
Tap 'Display Options'
Scroll down, if you have a gmail email address listed, tap it to open it, then you should find... 'System Group: ........' Check all of those and hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.
