contacts displayed ?

can anyone help me ? when i got my new galaxy ace i entered all my contacts into the phone the same way. but when some folk call me it shows their name & number but when some of my other contacts ring me it only shows their number & no name is displayed i want all my contacts to display both name & number everytime they ring me. just can not understand why the phone does this. HELP ANYONE !!!

Don't worry. Some of the things that we expect to work one way can confuse us the most if it does something else. I would guess that the contacts that aren't displaying properly are only saved as phone contacts and not as Google contacts. For things like custom ringtones, voice dialing and displaying contact info like name and pictures, those contacts must be Google contacts.

For tips and advice, it's always advisable to ask someone who owns the same model phone. In your case you'll want to look in Samsung Galaxy Ace - Android Forums
