So Android 5S. So I think I just had an update, I'm not sure but some time in the last 8 hours or so my contacts stop working. In the messenger app the number instead of the contact name is showing up. Within a messenger thread If I select the number it can't link up with the contact page. However if I decide to send a new messenger I can type out a name and it will select the appropriate number.
Within the contact apps in"contacts tab" I am unable to search my contacts and it is "Updating contact list". I've had this problem infrequently in the past but I am not sure what I did back then. What steps can I do/will it work itself out.
