Well hey there, I'm having some trouble with my contacts well mainly my number.

It says cannot read from SIM...

ALSO I have the same name as my cousin lol how irritating and it shows him as me in my number and i cant change it any help would be great

The My Number thing is another bit of weirdness of the phone, here's the work around... take your sim out of your smart phone and shove it in an dumb old SE or Samsung. Via the Settings menu on that phone find My Number, type it in and hit save. Then replace it in your 'smart' phone and it should read it ok!

On the name front I guess you would have to edit the name slightly, have you tried deleting him and then creating a new contact for him with spelling different?

My first post was really poor , I did mean that "my number" doesn't show, I have saved it in the settings but it still says Cannot read from SIM... so weird (yes i did put it in an old Samsung) but still no luck

And the cousin thing, I don't actually have his number but its the timescape facebook plugin where it doesn't allow you to edit, It's really annoying as last time I edited my name slightly on facebook I got banned. I have my email in the fields both of them Hotmail and Gmail, yet it still only comes up with him. but that's all under "cannot read from SIM..."

Oh sorry none of it helped! The facebook thing is weird but we don't want you getting banned again

Only other thing I can think of is add him in your phone book, even with a fake number then join that contact with his facebook details so the phone maybe see's it as seperate. You can join by pressing menu once you are in the edit page for a given number in the phone book.
