Help Contacts. I'm confused....

Ok so my Razr Maxx imported every contact known to mankind from gmail and Facebook, most of which I will never call and don't even have phone numbers for.

What I DO need is my contacts from my corporate Lotus Notes server.

I am trying to create a new "Contact Group" and I can't seem to do this.

Apps-->Contacts--->click on people icon-->click on + -->asks for group name which I type in-->hit ok -->exit screen and get message "no contact created"...

What am I doing wrong?

I just added one on my Maxx a second ago. Home>Phone>Contacts Up Top>2nd row leftmost people's heads icon>"+"in the top right of the "Groups" menu>Type in group name>OK>Pulls up list of all your contacts>check the boxes of everyone to include>"Done" at the bottom>Shows you the group you've created and its members>Back button>shows "My Groups" and "Account Groups" on the "Groups" screen Your new group should be listed under "My Groups"

Cheers, hope this helps!

Worked great! My problem was I was exiting before adding a contact.
I appreciate the help!

Also, if you don't want your FB contacts listed in your phone contacts, just remove FB from "My Accounts". That has zero impact on the FB application.

There are also some contact applications that allow you to hide any contacts that don't have phone numbers.

Thanks shelland ! I stumbled upon that feature and things are calming down. Also, I was able to set up Lotus Notes to sync properly and it automatically created a group for me so I am good to go.

Or if you want to keep your facebook pics for the contact name like I do.. you can delete the facebook people who don't want there. It will say they can't delete it but will offer to hide it.

I keep it facebook synced just so it updates the profile pics for each person I have.
