I recently transferred service from Boost to MetroPCS. With Metro, I have a new Kyocera Hydro WAVE. The phone I had with Boost, a 6-month-old LG Volt, was set up with Google, and it was synced. I know for a fact that when I added calendar entries with my LG phone, that the same event will appear on my laptop when viewing Google Calendar. However some of my contacts in the LG Volt are not in Google Contacts (discovered minutes ago) and subsequently not in my new Hydro WAVE. What can I do? Another problem, the SD card slot in the LG Volt does not seem to work. I can get WiFi access with both phones if this can be part of the solution.
Also, is there a way to transfer my text/SMS/MMS(whatever) messages from my 6-month old LG Volt to my new Kyocera Hydro WAVE at low or no cost? Also on the LG was a small program, Memo (looks like a yellow sticky tab) which I have a few entries and would like to transfer to my new HydroWAVE. The HydroWAVE doesn't seem to have the Memo icon in it's Apps. Can I get the Memo App somewhere or is there something else I should do?
