i have a problem with my contacts on android. I'm using JB on galaxy nexus. I'm not using google/gmail for any of my email/contact synchronisation, which seems to be leading to the following problems. My contacts are managed via owncloud (CardDAV provider) with the "CardDAV sync" app on the android side.
- when i connect my mobile via bluetooth to my car, my car gets an empty adressbook.
- in "Dialer One" My contacts don't show up in "contacts" - if i punch in the number and call, it correctly displays the name of the contact, in the recently called lists i have those available who called me or whos number i punched in manually.
- when i open the standard phone app, my contact list is fully populated within "frequently called" and "contacts in default"
In search of the misconfig or bug i created two non-CardDAV phonebook entries, these then get transmitted via bluetooth, show up in Dialer One's contact list. But they do not show up in the standard phone app! Yet, if i search for them in the standard phone app by using the looking glass they are found in "all contacts with phone numbers"
I'd be thankfull if anyone has any hint on how to resolve this.....
