Contacts mixup (in Messaging, not in Contacts)

Ok, this is weird. I have two Gmail accounts (one for work, one for personal). My phone is set up using my personal account. But if I go to send an SMS, my message is being sent with the name and profile pic of my work account, but the email of my personal account. However, If I go to my Contacts, I see the two accounts with different names and different profile pics, correctly attributed. This is happening only with my own two contact listings, nobody else's (out of over 300) are botched. This is not a crisis, just something I'd like to understand.

I'm on an ATT Galaxy S5 Active (SM-G870A) running 4.4.2., using the stock Contacts app and the Stock Messaging app, and have cleared the cache on both.

Thanks! kwhopson

I just moved from a GS3 to the Active two days ago and all my contacts are messed up. I got them kinda back to the way they were but some things aren't showing correctly. While I don't have your exact problem I do have an issue. This makes me wonder. I used Kies to get my contacts somewhat corrected. Only thing now is that it doesn't so the contacts for g+ or skype or anything like that. Not a big deal to me since I don't use the contacts on my phone that way really.

I'd be interested to see what others think about this issue. Maybe I'll read through the GS5 forum to see if anyone mentioned anything about it.

In Gmail settings, there is opportunity to include more than one email addresses, by this you will have one single login credentials to manage more than one gmail accounts and you can do that with ease.
