Help Contacts Not Assigned

See those 15 contacts "not assigned"? The only way I can access them is to go to this screen. So basically those 15 don't show up in my main contacts list. How do I change that?

I am having the same problem as Droid Newbie, of which I am one. The answer provided by mdeva is obviously someone who has an iPhone and certainly not a bit helpful. I can't even imagine why they'd be reading this. Go away, and let someone who can help do so. There are many helpful hints on these forums, and yours don't belong here, altho you are certainly entitled to them.

I'm up to 60 "not assigned" contacts now.

I had over 1000 in NOT ASSIGNED. The only way to get rid of them was to delete them individually, which I did over a few days. The only ones I did NOT were ones that were in my CONTACT list. I haven't added any new ones, so I don't know if they're showing up in NOT ASSIGNED. I'll bet they probably will, since it appears that NOT ASSIGNED means that those contacts are not assigned to any "group." I've posted on other forums and there is apparently no way to delete them as a group, altho someone said that option will appear when Jelly Bean is finally available.
