Help contacts not syncing 411

okay,

i had this problem before with my s2 (funny, not with my iphone, go figure). i have my gmail account setup to be default for contacts, with syncing in the account menu.

but if someone calls, and i want to add them to my contacts, it only stays on the phone, it won't ota with gmail, or my iphone (which i use at work and swap the sim after work). if i create one from the iphone, it works properly.

what am i doing wrong??? again, the account is set to sync contacts.

never mind, i got it. for anyone who may ever have the same problem, when creating a contact, you need to select (at the top of the screen) where to save that new contact. it defaults to the phone.
