Help Contacts not syncing properly

Hi pretty new to syncing contacts so may need a lot of help, but i have synced contacts to my Galaxy Ace and it does display them. But all of the information i need is saved in the contacts as notes, so this is stopping me from texting the contact. I have over 1000 contacts that i need to text so obviously i dont want to enter all manually. I used Excel and google contacts sync, is there a way in which i should lay them out in excel?
