contact's picture not displayed in dialer

Hi, i noticed a small bug.... i've imported my gmail and facebook contacts in Ace's phonebook. Now when i call someone dialer should the picture of that contact(same which is displayed in contact list), so the problem is, it ain't displaying! Sometimes for some contact it does.. sometimes it doesn't.

Even in the messaging application. some contacts display pic is there... for some contacts it doesn't

ya i've joined all my contacts. even for contacts which have single entry its not displaying pictures.

have you clicked the sync icon while connected to wifi?

i think you'v synced half the contacts so it does'nt have all the pics, click the sync icon and leave for 5minutes it should update all the pics itself.

also ive just noticed a few contacts never got a pic update. i think the ones with no pic are just the ones i manually entered, but you can click menu - sync sns data, i think this reloads all available contact pics from facebook.

yes my contacts are synced, i keep doing "sync SNS data" frequently. and pics in "contacts" are getting displayed correctly.

with help from an another thread, i've known that its an issue of only facebook contacts. Gmail contacts or manually pic assigned contacts get displayed properly.

It works fine for me after I deleted sim contact.
as for messaging, the stock apps does not update the photo but GO messaging does.

I had the same problem and here is how I sorted it.
1 unistall any facebook app you have on the phone
2 go to contacts, more, accounts, add account and add a Facebook account, if you already have a facebook account here delete it then add it again.
3 once you done this, go back into contacts and click get friends, click on the facebook acc there and add in all of your friends.
4 once your friends are added press and hold on the duplicate contacts and join them, and the pics should now show up in the dialler and in the messaging app.
5 You can now re install any FB apps that you removed but DO NOT have the app sync your contacts.
